Fil-Am politicians weigh in on why Biden took time to announce presidential bid

It was months of deliberation and speculation. But some Fil-Am politicians say it’s understandable why former vice president Joe Biden waited to announce his candidacy for the highest political office.

“I think he wanted to see who else was going to throw their name on the ring. So to speak.  I know when I ran for office it was something that I myself and some of my other colleagues who were also running, they did the same thing.  They kind of waited to see who else was running and if whether it was appropriate to put their name out there, and if it was something that they wanted to do,” said Joshua price, an election commissioner with the Pulaski County in Arkansas, who ran for a state congressional seat last year.

Bergenfield New Jersey councilman Arvin Amatorio had the same experience recently before announcing his mayoral candidacy.

“The task of organizing, getting volunteers, raising money especially is very tough. It’s not easy to run.  So I sympathize with him if he tested the water first whether he would run or not.”

Three years ago, Biden who just lost his oldest son Beau Biden, declined calls for him to run for president.

But two years ago, President Trump’s response to the racially charged violence in Charlottesville, Virginia which left a woman dead was the defining moment Biden said for his decision to run.

In a recent morning consult Politico poll conducted between April 19 to 21st, voters found Biden leading the president by 8 percentage points in a hypothetical race: 42 percent to 34 percent.

According to the poll, 76-year-old Biden is also leading among fellow Democrats. But with a diverse crowded field of Democratic candidates, price said Biden is facing a tougher fight.

Biden said he told former President Barack Obama, whose campaigns brought record number of voters out, not to endorse him.

Meanwhile, Biden is scheduled to hold an event in Pittsburgh on Monday, and then will head to Philadelphia in the next two weeks for a major rally.

Biden waited until the last minute to announced his Prez bid, he thought Michelle will run. Biden will face his fellow leftist media expect to destroy him totally in favor for Sanders. This is the moment for the 3rd Party Schultz a Democrat/Billionaire to grab votes from Sanders and Biden dirty campaign fights. Trump just wait who will be the nominee on the Dem Party , maybe it will be Biden, because majority of Democrat are not ready for Socialist Government. So it will Trump Vs Biden vs Schultz-3rd Party, a Dems candidate.
