REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – As President Obama’s visit to the Philippines draws near, the US Pinoys for Good Governance is urging Philippine President Benigno Aquino III to request and persuade Obama to provide the Philippines with drone technology.

In a letter to Aquino Thursday, the US Pinoys group said that drone technology would help the Philippines fight off China’s aggression in the South China Sea territorial dispute.

According to the group, without effective weaponry to deter China’s aggression, the Philippines is no match for China when it comes to protecting the Philippine territories in the disputed area.

The group also said that if only the Philippines had access to drone technology, it could effectively use it to keep China at bay without endangering the lives of soldiers and it is more cost effective.

The use of drones became controversial in the Philippines after a New York Times piece claimed that the US had conducted “lethal” drone operations in the Philippines. Both US and Philippine military officials denied the New York Times’ claim.

All talks and papogi. You ask something wherein you know very much the answer that the US won’t grant your request. To all Pinoys let’s contribute for the procurement of Drones for our motherland the Philippines. We haven’t yet contribute something for the defense of the Philippines. Let’s do it now!

Drone technology is exclusively for the US military.US Drone attack were used in Yemen, Mindanao.
Afganistan, Iraq and many more. Take note; the triggger finger is in Virginia,US. Drone could be park in Palawan air base to attack terrorist or pirates, but the trigger finger monitored via Sattelite is in Virginia.

The most expensive parts of a Drone is the armaments, there are missiles for troops, for building, tanks and all are fitted with a laser guided camera. The Drone infra red camera is use to detect the body heat of a person day or night, and invisible laser beam will zero on to the target, then the missile will follow the path of the laser beam. Drone are easy target from any foreign Naval ships, they are too slow Naval ships are protected with a computer monitored gatlling gun intended for fast moving incoming missile.
