Fil-Am group demands solution to NAIA bullet-planting scam

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The US Pinoys for Good Governance has called on the Philippine government to solve the alleged bullet-planting scheme at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport by an alleged airport syndicate.

The group is urging the Aquino government not to detain passengers with bullets, as long as they do not have guns.

In a statement, the group reasons: “Bullets alone without a gun are not a threat. To protect potential victims, the government should immediately issue an order to airport security personnel stating that passengers carrying bullets but without a gun are not security threats and should not be detained. The bullets can be confiscated.”

The US Pinoys for Good Governance is also calling on the prosecution of those involved in extorting passengers.
