Fil-Am female cyclist takes the lead in London race

In London, a Filipina American cyclist, Coryn Rivera, completed a spirited rally last Saturday to claim a close victory in the 2017 Ride London Classique.

California-born Rivera, riding out with Team Sunweb, was as far back as third place in the final stretch, held back by the packed frontline before the late sprint helped her take the lead for the first time — and for good to earn her fourth world tour win of the 2017 season.

Coryn also takes home winnings of 100 thousand Euros, the largest prize in the history of women’s cycling.

Congratulations, Coryn!
