Fil-Am election commissioner Joshua Ang Price on candidates’ campaign push in Arkansas

LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS — Filipinos in Arkansas are scattered across this state, snugged between Oklahoma and Mississippi.

But on Super Tuesday, they are among those deciding who among the four Democratic presidential candidates should get the state’s 31 delegates.

According to Asian American Pacific Islander Vote, as of 2018, there were over 10,200 Filipinos in Arkansas. The number of eligible Asian American voters grew 29 percent in the last decade.

Fil-Am Joshua Ang Price, an election commissioner in Pulaski County, said the candidates have been courting voters across the state.
