LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas was always home to Michael Jackson. Some of his family members live here.

Jackson even rented a 7 bedroom, 10 bathroom mansion located on the west side of Las Vegas. That 16,400 square foot home sold for more than $3 million in 2008.

It was also in Las Vegas where the King of Pop started his music career with his siblings as the Jackson 5.

They became the youngest headliners of the former Bally’s Hotel and Casino, which is now the MGM Grand.

Despite his controversial death, Jackson’s presence still makes money for the Sin City.

From slot machines to Cirque shows, the Michael Jackson brand continues to thrive.

King of Pop impersonators also flock to Las Vegas to make money and to entertain fans who continue to be passionate about his music.

“It’s still amazing how little kids even know who Michael Jackson is. He has created a masterpiece of himself that will never die,” said Justin Dean, a Filipino-American Jackson impersonator.
