LAS VEGAS – Ralph Simon Jeremias appeared at the 8th Judicial District Court of Nevada Thursday before Judge Valerie Adair to hear his sentence.
Jeremias was already convicted by the 15 men and women members of the jury — guilty on six counts. The conviction includes first-degree murder charges in the execution style killing of drug dealers Brian Hudson and Paul Stevens in 2009.
The writ of execution without the possibility of parole was formally served to Jeremias. This means he has been sentenced to die on the week of April 15.
When Judge Adair asked Jeremias about his sentence, he said: “I’m innocent. This trial became more racial politics. God knows I didn’t commit the murder.”
Jeremias’ defense attorneys argued that the death penalty should be reconsidered because the Hudson and Stevens families lost their sons already.
They say it would be a shame for the Jeremias family to lose another son.
Jeremias’ camp is set to file an appeal before the US Supreme Court.
The jury members were invited to watch the execution on the week of April 15.
Executing him on tax deadline …. very sweet .
In America if you kill you found guilty for execution style killing? You can kiss your ass goodbye. That’s OK his family will be with him when he dies. Look he was found guilty that’s the law in America if found guilty, he should have think twice before he did it kill the two people.
Most criminal that was and is sentence to life in prisons and or sentence to death claims innocents . Its the same tune and lyrics they sings everywhere.
