They had the big three that delivered four NBA finals appearances and two NBA titles, but since LeBron James left and Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh retired, things have not been the same for the Miami Heat.
But things are looking up for the Heat and their Fil-Am coach Erik Spoelstra.
For the early part of this season, the Heat were even 2nd best for a good stretch of the eastern conference.
Spoelstra credits their success to the teams culture and perseverance.
Besides basketball, Coach Spok is busy being a dad to his young boys, whom he plans to bring to the Philippines for a visit.
The Heat currently ranks at 4th place in the eastern conference and recently made the biggest moves at the trade deadline adding former Warrior and NBA finals MVP Andre Iguodala and Jae Crowder, they also now celebrate having two all-stars in Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
As the Heat catch their second breath with the revitalized roster, the spotlight is back on coach Spo as he tries to live up to the expectations of a loyal fan base, who can’t wait to see their team back on top of the NBA.
