Elderly Filipina women killed in deadly highway crash in Palmdale
PALMDALE, CA — About an hour from Los Angeles, two Filipino women in their 60’s were killed on Saturday when their SUV crashed into a truck parked in a construction zone on the Antelope Valley freeway.
68-year old Erlinda Fernandez and 61-year old Rosario Agmata were pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV was reportedly traveling at a high speed prior to the crash. Authorities said alcohol or drugs are not considered factors in this incident.
A GoFundMe account has been set up, with the goal of raising $10,000 to help their families pay for funeral and cremation services.
