LAS VEGAS — More than 310,000 Nevada voters cast their ballots during the first two weeks of early voting. Fil-Ams were among those who grabbed the opportunity to make their votes count.
According to recent Clark County data, early voting turnout has surged among Republicans, Democrats and Independents.
In Nevada, early voter numbers show that nearly 70,000 voters statewide cast their ballots on the first weekend of early voting — an unusually high midterm election turnout compared to 27,000 voters in the 2014 midterm election.
Of the votes cast, nearly 32,000 have come from registered Democrats and more than 25,000 from registered Republicans.
So far, more than 227,000 Southern Nevadans have already cast their ballots.
Early voting continues through November 2nd, 4 days before the general election on November 6.
