REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – It was a challenge Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade couldn’t refuse.
Just a day after seeing 90-year-old lola Illuminada Magtoto’s challenge on Youtube, Wade took to twitter with his response, saying, “Let’s do it grandma.”
Lola Nelly’s 90th birthday wish came true on Tuesday when she and Wade met up at Miami Heat’s practice facility.
She got her 1-on-1 time, along with big hugs and kind words from Wade.
“It’s given me life. It gives me a purpose,” said Wade.
Lola responded, “I always pray for you.”
