TORONTO — Canadians across Ontario are enjoying a unique outdoor theatre performance for free, or by donation, with Driftwood Theatre’s annual summer tour.

To celebrate the company’s 25th anniversary, Driftwood Theater has put a modern musical spin on Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream,” featuring original music performed a cappella mixed with some comedy.

The show also featuring an emerging Filipino Canadian actress who plays the role of Hermia.

Marissa Orjalo was classically trained at a young age and would like to follow her idol Lea Salonga’s footsteps.
