Donnie Nietes looks to have his own all-Filipino boxing world title fight

While Filipino fight fans look forward to the first all-Pinoy world title clash in nearly a century, one of the best Filipino fighters of this generation, Donnie Nietes, is also looking to have his own all-Pinoy world title fight.

DONNIE NIETES, from ALA,the longest reigning Filipino World Champion, got paid for $40K during the Reveco($30K) fight.. He will fight NABF Super Flyweight Champ ASTON PALICTE for vacant WBO Super flyweight Title in CEBU,PH..Experience wise Nietes has all the edge, but moving to a higher weight class is a different story, boxer from higher division punches harder. Palicte from ROY JONES Promotion is hungry for a World Champ belt and this is his weight class. A victory for Palicte, means his $ FIGHT PURSE from an American promoter will increase. ANCAJAS fight purse from Bob Arum-Top Rank is $125K, a defeat means his rate will go down, a win means his next fight will be higher. A Sultan win means he will get recognition, and I don’t think ALA will release him to work with an American promoter. A KO defeat for Sultan means Sultan will be thrown out from ALA and sell Balot.
