REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The Philippine Department of Justice, junked model Deniece Cornejo’s rape charges against “It’s Showtime” host Vhong Navarro yesterday, citing doubt that rape was possible since there was not even a single scratch on the model.

An emotional Navarro thanked his family, friends and supporters during a live telecast of the noontime show yesterday, just minutes after finding out that the Justice Department dismissed Cornejo’s rape charges.

The “It’s Showtime” host who looked relieved thanked all the fans who rallied to his side as soon as the controversy broke out last January.

Meantime, Cornejo and her friend Cedric Lee are among eight people who were slapped with criminal charges in relation to Navarro’s mauling last January.

these criminals cornejo and lee finally are put to shames, these two are manufacturers of bogus evidences and invented claims as victims of rape and lee’s claimed of false accusations of vhong exposures of their modus operandi of blackmail to extort millions. this is good for the PH’s criminal justice system. its about time the PH must show to the world the citizens of the PH are lawful people, that criminals must be convicted for swift justice to be served, for justice delayed is justice denied. People of the PH at this time cannot fully celebrate, until cornejo and lee, his sister and his criminal accomplish inflicting violence of beating to vhong and the other liar woman – name? lee hired to accuse vhong of fallacious rape, all these hoodlums are culpable of the crimes they committed against vhong, likewise are also crimes committed against the people of the PH. thus, all of these criminal bunch must spend years of their lives imprisoned, where they really all belong.
