Disneyland influencer Joshua Obra dies after COVID-19 battle

Family members have confirmed over the weekend that a Filipino American nurse-turned popular Disneyland blogger has succumbed to COVID-19.

Joshua Obra, known on Instagram as “The Disneyland Panda” died on July 6 following a 26-day battle with COVID-19. In an Instagram post, his sister Jasmine remembered him as kind, selfless, and wanting to make everyone happy. Jasmine adds that she was happy that he was able to share his love for Disney and passion for photography.

Through his Disneyland Panda Instagram, Obra regularly captured moments at different Disney Parks and events, appearing on local television as a Disneyland insider.
