REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The Department of Homeland Security issued a directive to immigration agents, instructing them to reach out to undocumented immigrants who may be able to benefit from President Barack Obama’s executive orders.
Internal training materials obtained by the Associated Press reportedly tells immigration agents to immediately begin identifying newly encountered persons who may be eligible for protection from deportation.
These agents are also told to identify jailed immigrants and see if any of them could be released under the program.
This is an unusual directive because now the obligation lies on the government to identify those who may be eligible for relief.
In the past, immigrants needing help are obligated to convince the government that they deserve to stay in the country.
Authorities say when agents ask immigrants up front if they might qualify for relief, this actually saves the government time and resources.
Millions of people are expected to benefit from President Obama’s executive orders on immigration.
Inject A GPS on everyone of them to direct them back in their country of origins.
agree! it works well with my cat and dogs……..one time i lost them, in few hours i have them back
In light of all the strong disagreements we have on the issue of illegal immigration, the media at times perpetuate their cause and addressed them as our “KABABAYANS”… Yes, they have to rub that in deep into the Filipino community as well as every Filipinos…
the courts all the way to the SCOTUS have to listen to the lawsuits filed by 26 states against obobo’s illegal aliens amnesty. over half of the populous against illegal amnesty want the shits to hit the fan flying over to obobo’s face, for him to feel what a moron he is favoring illegal aliens, and burdening the citizens.
