Democratic presidential candidates gang up on Bernie Sanders during South Carolina debate

CHARLESTON, SC — The CBS News debate in South Carolina was explosive from the start, with Senator Bernie Sanders taking the heat all night long.

His opponents — who are desperate to catch up to him, after his decisive victory in the Nevada caucuses — tagged him the risky choice to face off against President Donald Trump in November.

The South Carolina primary will take place on February 29th, while the massive Super Tuesday vote will be held on March 3rd — with fourteen states and one U.S. territory holding nominating contests to award a total of 1,357 delegates.
