“This year actually ang dami kong beses na nagbakasyon dito po sa Canada to visit and spend time with my family in Calgary. “This year, I went back to Canada a lot to visit and spend time with my family in Calgary. For me, all I wanted was to share my talent in ASAP. That was my only goal, to sing at ASAP and then it happened and I got so much more than just that so I feel very happy and blessed always.”
And for Jona, not even the cold weather could have prevented her from reaching the high notes….
“Napakalamig! Siguro po it took a lot of practice kasi nung bata pa lang din po ako sinasanay na po ako sa karaoke ng parents ko and then I joined a lot of mga singing competitions so siguro po sa experience na rin.”
“It’s so cold! I think it took a lot of practice because when I was a kid, my parents made me get used to singing karaoke and then I joined a lot of singing competitions so I guess it also comes with experience.”
A feast for the eyes and ears, Darren and Jona’s elegant costumes and powerhouse performances earned multiple standing ovations, an indication that the pair undoubtedly aced their concert.
