Controversy in New York PIDCI elections

NEW YORK — Every year, the Philippine Independence Day Council, or PIDCI, elects a new set of officers who will put together the biggest Filipino parade in New York City, outside of the Philippines. But just before the polls opened on Saturday, one officer was not allowed to verify the signatures of proxy voters, and if they match their corresponding organizations.

    According to Resty Padogino (Security Consultant), the Filipino community in New York should consult COMELEC Chairman Bautista regarding his take on the PIDCI elections…Its apparent that there are some ongoing election corruption there…
