CERRITOS, Calif–It was a grand celebration at the Cerritos Shopping center as Filipinos packed the mall to get a glimpse of Filipino celebrities, but for Olivia Quido and her husband Jason Co, it’s an American dream coming true.

The couple moved to the U.S. 10 years ago, as computer programmers. Instead of continuing her old work, Quido rebooted her career to become an esthetician. From doing facials in a small room at a local salon, she’s since opened two branches in Southern California and will open a third later this month where many Philippine celebrity clients have been spotted getting their facials and skin care treatment.

“We’re just here to do our job. This is what our passion is as husband and wife so nakakabless na appreciate ng mga tao what we love to do,” Olivia said.

KC Concepcion, Adobo Nation Chef Ron Bilaro, award winning actors Leandro Munoz and Liza Dino along with former Wowowee Dancer Heidi Reigo, and Lea Salonga joined the grand opening ceremony for her new medical spa clinic in the Westfield Cerritos Mall in Cerritos California.

“I’m here to support Olivia Quido and O skin care. I’ve been a client for here for a few years now,” said the Tony award-winning Salonga as she made her way down the red carpet.

Quido’s husband, Jason Co, who was in the printing business, has also has completed his esthetician training and will be looking forward to getting more involved in the family business.

They have also begun formulating their own skin care products, and are hoping to open more shops in American malls, and gain Hollywood clients as well.

“God willing we want to open in American malls so there’s diversity (in our clientele),” explained Quido.
