LA Clippers and Jasmine Trias celebrate Hawaiian night in historic game against the Celtics

LOS ANGELES — Boston and Los Angeles renewed their rivalry on Monday night, as the Celtics visited the Clippers.

While the Celtics have had three straight road wins, the Clippers blew them out 140 to 115 for their fifth straight win.

It was a historic night for reserve guard Lou Williams who broke the record for career bench points, passing Del Curry.

The Clippers are now Currently in 6th place in the western conference.

As the Clippers fight to secure their playoff birth, they said aloha to their fans with a special guest.

Working with Myx TV, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted Hawaiian Night, celebrating Hawaiian culture with island-flavored performances.

The 3rd placer of American Idol season 3 Jasmine Trias kicked off Hawaii night with her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner.

With large Filipinos communities in Hawaii, other Filipinos showcased both their Pinoy Pride and Aloha Spirit.

The Mendoza twins whose parents are from Hawaii admit that they are Laker fans, but they’ve warmed up to ClipperNation as the team continues to celebrate the regions’ diversity.

This Friday night’s game will feature another Filipina center stage. Jessica Reynoso of the Voice Philippines and the Blacked Eyed Peas will perform as the Clippers take on the Bulls.
