Pacquiao and Mayweather join Clippers Filipino heritage night celebration

LOS ANGELES — For Filipino basketball fans, it’s the most anticipated night of the season.
Last night, the Los Angeles Clippers hosted its annual Filipino Heritage night, which featured Fil-Am talents like Apl de Ap, Jessica Reynoso, Liane V and Jasmine Villegas.
After the Clippers beat the visiting Charlotte Hornets, Fil-Am celebrities hit the court for their own pickup game.
“I’m very proud to be back again to represent our culture where we come from we’re proud aliens, Angelenos, Angeleno Filipinos,” said Apl. De Ap.
Proceeds from the heritage night that was organized by ABS-CBN also helped the Apl de Ap Foundation.
As fans experience Pinoy pride and culture they were also in for a knockout treat from the fighting pride of the Philippines.
Manny Pacquiao not only greeted his fans, and led the t-shirt toss.
The Pacman also greeted former foe Floyd Mayweather. The undefeated boxer even gave his seal of approval to The Black Eyed Peas posing for pics with the two Pinoy members, while the Pacman had a pregame chat with Clippers coach Doc Rivers.
