In Canada, Philippine food products are expected to become more mainstream in the country now as the Department of Trade and Industry aggressively pursues big Canadian chains to carry Pinoy brands.
But how will the change affect smaller Pinoy-owned stores?
The promotion is part of the “Flavours of the Philippines” project of the Department of Trade and Industry and the Philippine embassy.
Vancouver is the first city to take on the challenge.
