Canada makes no guarantee on asylum for refugees

The Canadian government stands firm on its policy for refugees and asylum-seekers, after a preliminary report shows a surge in asylum applications this year.

A warning from the United States’ neighbor up north: beware of false information about claiming refugee status at the border.

Months after receiving an influx of asylum seekers at the US-Canada border.

Canada’s immigration officials are now making it clear—seeking asylum is not a free ticket into the country.

“There are private individuals and organizations in your community who may be providing false and misleading information about claiming asylum in Canada. The government of Canada has no special program to grant refugee status to individuals in the US currently under temporary protective status, or otherwise.”

Immigration authorities have stepped up efforts to educate the public on risks tied with irregular border crossings, after US President Donald Trump’s implementation of a travel ban affecting a number of countries early this year.

According to Victor “Japa” Velasco (Warehouse Supervisor in Canada), Filipinos without papers should be ashamed of themselves showing up in Canada asking for asylum? Japa shared his life experiences while migrating the right (traditional) way into Canada. He further stated that he worked so hard to get his Canadian citizenship and all of a sudden, some thick-skinned Filipinos would show up there for free passes?

According to Maximo Velasco (Beta Elite Canada), medians portrayal of undocumented immigrants as educated, hardworking and community contributors are well versed half-truths. However, the one-sided sloppy writers has or have been withholding the fact that they are the purposeful art of illegal immigrant parents. Take away those phony stories of being hard workers trying to support their families back home. Like what I have said in previous articles, Filipinos are playing deaf ears and blind eyes (hypocritical) to these illegal immigrants…

Look Canada is where the Filipinos go too, and work hard to make money to feed there family back in Philippines. To me I don’t care if they stay in Canada and don’t try to come to America.
