California Fil-Am college student died from accidental alcohol poisoning, according to coroners

A new development in the tragic case of the Filipino American UC Irvine student who was found dead at a fraternity event earlier this year.

The Orange County Coroners office said that 18-year-old UCI student Noah Domingo died from accidental alcohol poisoning last January.

The toxicology report revealed that Domingo’s blood alcohol level was at 0.33 percent — more than four times the legal limit. There were no other substances in his body.

While the incident took place outside of campus, UCI suspended Sigma Alpha Epsilon.

The national Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity has closed the UCI chapter indefinitely.
