Broncos’ Fil-Am wide receiver heads to Super Bowl 50

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The world’s biggest sporting event is two weeks away and a Filipino American will be vying for the NFL’s Super Bowl championship.

The Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers have advanced and will face off on Super Bowl Sunday.

Suiting up for the Broncos is Fil-Am wide receiver Jordan Norwood, who is now in his fifth season as a professional football player.

Sports runs in the Hawaiian-born 29-year-old’s family. His older brother is none other than PBA star and Philippine national team member Gabe Norwood.

The 50th Super Bowl and all the festivities will take place here in the Bay Area in Santa Clara.
