Update: Missing pregnant Pinay found dead in car in Sacramento

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – The Sacramento Police announced Wednesday afternoon that the body found inside a car close to Sacramento is that of missing pregnant Filipina, Aubrey Andrews.

The 20-year old was nine months pregnant when she went missing on December 6. She was nine months pregnant.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s office has also declared the same time of death for Andrews’ baby.

In May, Andrews filed for divorce from her husband Edward. Court records show a domestic violence claim filed almost a year ago resulted in a restraining order banning Edward Andrews from abusing his wife. The terms of a temporary child custody arrangement involving their two-year-old son was also part of the restraining order.

Authorities said she was reportedly upset when she drove away that night from her home.

Her loved-ones said she may have been traveling to Southern California where she has friends.

The Prius belonging to Andrews was found Monday night in Elk Grove. But at that time, authorities did not identify the body.

An investigation is still underway, which authorities said could take up to eight months.
