Bay Area Pinoys join MLK weekend protests

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Across the Bay in Oakland, Filipino activists were among those that blocked the entrance to a federal building.

According to protest fliers, the federal building was targeted for promoting war against blacks and people’s struggle for self determination around the world.

At least 150 people came to the protest, which will conclude with a march in Oakland on Monday Jan. 19, Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Noz , I dont know why Filipinos are always actively joinning a protest. I doubt if they actually know what they are protesting for .They all seems so confused and ignorant . I am often astounded how poorly informed this Filipinos are. I am equally amazed that they never hesitate to display it.

Civic duty is dying of very very hard death because of the cultures in America that reward stupidity and violence. It’s truly amazing to me that so many have been blinded and deceived into believing a lie..today a lie has become the truth and the truth becomes a lie . The problem is that there is so much falsehood taught as truth.

I’ll lay odds you Filipinos only know MLK as a black guy , All of Martin Luther King’s speeches should be required reading.

The Sharptons and Jacksons of this world have used MLK and his legacy as a CASH COW. They should be out there, ensuring that his memory is preserved, ensuring that all black , brown, and white youth know His speeches and know the meaning behind them. Instead, their actions throughout the years, the Tawana Brawley incident, inciting the riots in Ferguson, screaming about racism day and night: they’re in essence spitting on MLK’s grave.

Both the Democrat Party and their so-called “black leaders” have twisted his legacy.
And today, you’ll find them out there: taking credit for carrying on MLK’s legacy, when in reality, they’re driving it into the ground.

Dont this Pinoys have an job ? Its sick to watch that they have so much time to waste protesting and rallying . Everytime i check Balitang America its all this nonsense useless protest. Whos paying this people ? Go find a job or go take care of your family , stop being trash on the street.

MLK’s dream has turned into a nightmare for whites and blacks alike. Once blacks realized how lacking in character their race is, they sold out and went down the racism road to try and make up for the deficiency. I’m still amazed that a national holiday was created for MLK. Personally, I’ve grown tired of the appeasing, the patronizing and the kowtowing to special interest groups and minorities.

The race card is old, torn, worn out and barely legible. It’s become nearly meaningless. Regardless of government and MSM hype it amounts to nothing more than a political tool and a crutch for those in need of an easy “out”. Which, of course, is why this country never gets beyond it’s racial divides. Racism is “good” for government, minorities, white guilt and special interest groups. They simply don’t want it to go away. Racial divide will remain a serious issue in this country until such time that the true racists are confronted.
