Bay Area Fil-Ams join thousands in MLK march for racial justice

OAKLAND, Calif. – Major cities saw thousands of protesters fill the streets on Martin Luther King Day.

They wanted to express the mistrust between law enforcement and the black community.

After two white police officers were not indicted in the deaths of two unarmed black men, Michael Brown and Eric Garner, widespread protests and violence took part across the country late last year.

In the Bay Area, Filipino American activists were among the thousands in a Martin Luther King Day march against what they say is a justice system that wages a war on the black community in service of U.S. imperialism and white supremacy.

“We also feel the racism, oppression, exploitation that the big corporations in this country, that the police, the military metes out on the black communities they’re unleashing the same things on our people here in the United States and also back home in the Philippines,” said BAYAN-USA Vice Chairperson Rhonda Ramiro.

The activists say they are reclaiming the militancy of Dr. King and how he advocated for a greater economic and political cooperation around the world.

“He knew that the struggle for the Vietnamese for freedom was linked to the struggle of black people and all oppressed people in the United States for freedom, for justice, for equality,” said Ramiro.

“We want to call on the larger Filipino community to participate and to learn more about what’s happening and to stand up with our black sisters and brothers against black oppression,” said Aurora Victoria David of the National Alliance of Filipino Concerns (NAFCON).

These Fil-Am’s say that the fight against prejudice and discrimination continues.

“Even though people don’t see it now we’re living in a very historical moment that will change things,” said GABRIELLA SF Co-Chairperson Melissa Reyes. “There’s no doubt about it. I’m here today with my daughter because I fight for her future and I know that things will change.”

While the marches were mainly peaceful, numerous reports of arrests have been made across the country for some violence and civil disobedience including the blockage of some major freeways.

Words do not exist to describe this absurdity , blissfully ignorant bunch of Idiots. They have been blinded and deceived into believing a lie.

People who always view life through a prism of race are the racists. Only racists play the race card. Otherwise, they have nothing to use. The rules of liberalism. Exaggerate, lie, state that it’s a fact, exaggerate some more, then get violent or mad if it doesn’t work , libs/dims/progs march merrily along in the fog of willful ignorance and mind numbing obeisance to ideological foolishness and are consequently completely blind to their own idiocy proudly and, unfortunately, loudly on display 24/7. This delusional behavior is encouraged 24/7 by the mirror of MSM and the resulting symbiotic orgasm.

I guess “Hope and Change” is actually going to lead to a second American Revolution/Civil War. Look at the racial turmoil in America. 2015 is going to be the year that liberals are exposed for what they are , leeches and worse they prey upon honest people.

Thanks for standing up for justice. Thanks from the black community to yours.

police officers be it white, black, brown, yellow, red or whatever skin color is the police officer will shoot to kill thugs, who will try to grab their service guns, its as simple as that. protesters of mixed ethnic groups using thugs as their poster have no credibility, they ought to be ashamed of themselves for being fools, making noise of their moronic stance. the public have had enough of these deluded bunch of protesters, whose leaders are lawless themselves, no difference with criminals. you all can protest all you want, with the first amendment protection, yet one day you all gonna cry wolf with your abused of the first amendment, in the end you all will be losers. to be losers in america is like a curse, given the opportunities still can be reached with the length of an average person’s arms, in spite of the socialists governance, that you all promote / favor. protesters with muddy causes do not get the majority of public supports, instead it creates animosity your lawless leaders are inciting for their own financial gain.

Filipino communists in the States – the same shameless leeches who tried to exploit and further inflame the mindless passion of those booze-looting anarchists and arsonists in Ferguson – joining and (again) exploiting things like this march is not surprising.

These are also the same leeches who tried to embarrass PNoy in Boston as they tried to impress Joma Sison (leader and founder of Philippine communist party and their armed bandits). Klepto Queen Gloria Arroyo ravaged the country with her unmitigated greed and unabashed corruption and thievery, she was in the US several times and yet they never did this to her. Here comes PNoy who made so much headway against corruption, brought the economy to unprecedented growth and valiantly resisted the bullying of China, and these leeches hate him so much.

To the writer of this article – No need to further embarrass the Filipinos by linking this 1d10ts to us. These people are nothing but shameless communist opportunists and leeches; dreaming of anarchy and the overthrow of all democratic institutions, order and structure everywhere. I will not be even surprised if some of these are actually Beijing agents.

How exactly are blacks a victim of their own laziness? Their own unwillingness to learn or become better citizens? How is their moral decay the fault of all of this ‘help’ via redistribution of white wealth? The more we ‘help’ the less it seems to matter. Why? Is it really the fault of ‘help’ and facilitating their handicaps or is it because they are fatally flawed as a race that can’t be rescued?

Here i always thought ( Asians don’t pull this crap ) but i guess i am wrong .I dont know where i got that notion, thinking that far eastern Asians are conservative.

However, if you don’t like racial profiling, get rid of affirmative action
get rid of the violent behavior and rap lyrics that glorify violence
get rid of your victimhood tribal profiling
    get rid of bothering others
get rid of your negative projections

Get rid of the five biggest race-baiters in history:
    Barack Obama
    Michelle Obama
    Eric Holder
    Al Sharpton
    Jesse Jackson
