PHOENIX, Ariz. – Filipinos in Phoenix were shocked to find out that two priests at the Mother of Mercy Mission Church became victims of a violent robbery.

Last Wednesday night Father Kenneth Walker was shot to death and Father Joseph Terra was brutally beaten.

Walker reportedly died coming to the aid of Terra who was under attack by a homeless ex-convict.

“The whole parish is still devastated,” parishioner Rudy Sanchez said. “This morning parishioners were still crying because these priests were like our family. To whoever did this, your fate is in God’s hands. You hurt very nice people.”

The suspect Gary Michael Moran, a homeless ex-convict with a history of violence and drug abuse, was arrested Monday.

too many violent criminals on the loose, with liberal justices favoring deals, than trials in spite of past records of this criminal’s home invasions, stabbings, and possessions of firearms. imprisonments were too short with all the deals received by this hardcore, heartless criminal. the ambushed killing and injuring of the priests, we will never know if it could have been prevented, since those entering the house of GOD, welcomes all. the copycat killers are always the problem, must concern the general public, not only in AZ.
