At victory parade, cheering fans celebrate World Series champions Houston Astros

HOUSTON, TX — Baseball players and staff rode in fire trucks through the streets. Orange and blue confetti rained down, as this year’s World Series Champions — the Houston Astros — passed a record-setting crowd of fans in downtown Houston.

Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner dubbed the event the largest parade in Houston history, and declared November 3rd as Houston Astros day.
