Alleged Pinoy human trafficking victims safe, consulate officials say

LOS ANGELES – The Philippine Consulate in Los Angeles has been told that the Filipino women involved in the alleged human trafficking against a Saudi princess — are safe.

Officials have gotten in touch with the Irvine Police Department regarding the four Filipino domestic workers allegedly held by Saudi princess Meshael Alayban.

Alayban was charged with human trafficking after an unnamed 30-year old Kenyan worker escaped and alerted authorities.

Investigators also found four Filipinos working for Alayban, who allegedly held the women’s passports and forced them to work long hours for low wages.

The Philippine Consulate told the police that they wish to talk to the women, whose names are being withheld.

Charges have yet to be filed in the case of the Filipino women.

    Wow this Alayban is a person that we should lock up for a long time if found that she had done that. See what happens when people has alot of money.
