REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – An Anchorage man reportedly shot and killed his Pinoy caregiver Tuesday and then called 911 to report it.

Court documents released Wednesday show that Paul Miller, 51, dialed 911 Tuesday evening from an assisted living home and admitted to shooting his Filipino caretaker, 63-year-old Eduardo Escalante.

Police found miller waiting outside of the home with a semi-automatic hand gun and found the body of Escalante with multiple gunshot wounds to his neck, arm and torso.

While a motive has yet to be determined, Miller was taken into custody and charged with first and second degree murder.

Escalante and his wife just moved to the United States from the Philippines last March.
