REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – With the immigration reform bill continuing to stall in Congress some immigrant rights advocates are now calling on President Barack Obama to proceed in using his executive power to make changes in the immigration system.

Immigration advocacy group America’s Voice says the president needs to make changes without waiting for Congress.

The group says following the defeat of House Majority Leader Eric cantor, an immigration advocate, the rest of the House Republicans may not even make a move on immigration reform at all.

President Obama said last month that he would delay changes to the nation’s deportation policy in an effort to let the House work on passing the bill before the August recess.

But groups like the National Network’s Campaign for Citizenship say they need the president to act now.

Undocumented immigrants’ rights organizer Akiko Aspillaga, who is also a recipient of Obama’s deferred action program, said she’s pessimistic that comprehensive immigration reform will pass this year.

“The fact that Eric Cantor lost just goes to show that the Republicans are going to keep on stalling on immigration reform,” she said. “President Obama has no more excuses to not use his executive power for the good of the people.”

i am telling you all, this is the classic of giving a hand, now these out of control illegal aliens want the whole arm, mobilizing and intimidating the american society. outcry of the right thing to do, good for the country my foot are too repulsive. the right thing to do isto enforce what’s in the book of the INS letter of the laws, that obozo must follow is to deport all illegal aliens. good for the country is the propagandists POS to push their own toxic self serving economic agendas. the american economy degraded by obozo and his bozos, while the illegal aliens will bust the american economy. americans are sharp to know the treachery illegal aliens play are emotions driven, mooching of obozo. the volatile polling of americans as pro immigration reform were expanded by illegal aliens joining the poll, therefore the poll was rigged, the dirty trick to misled the public.

Illegals are foreign invaders and should be treated as such, they should be given the option to leave peacefully back to their own country or be dispatched with extreme prejudice, no third option will be offered.

There should be no extensions; after your 2 year reprieve you should be deported to one’s home country (country of origin). Don’t be mad at the United States for enforcing it’s laws. Get mad at your parents for knowingly breaking the law and lying to you the entire time. Take what you’ve learned and go and make your country a better place.
