REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – News out of San Diego, Calif. where the man accused of killing his coworker at an LBC shipping and remittance center will get a jury trial in October.
Leopoldo Pacuan will face a jury in October of this year. Prosecutors have not yet decided if they will seek the death penalty.
Prosecutors claim Pacuan who worked at the LBC in Mira Mesa tried to rob Raquel Morales who was working at the front desk inside the store last May.
He allegedly stabbed Morales eight times including twice in the heart and stole her purse and wedding ring before leaving her for dead.
Pacuan his since pleaded not guilty to the murder charges.
