NEW YORK — It’s the premiere of ABS-CBN Cinematografo original feature film, Bittermelon.
The film was among the closing night presentations of the Asian American International Film Festival screened at the Asia Society in New York over the weekend.
Bittermelon is a story about a dysfunctional Filipino-American family trying to deal with the men in their family.
“This movie is about how men treat women, how men treat each other and how men need to change,” said director H.P. Mendoza.
The question is, what would you do if one of your family members is making everyone else’s lives miserable?
