ABS-CBN journalist among Pope Francis’ PH press corps

REDWOOD CITY, Calif.  – Pope Francis’ highly anticipated visit to the Philippines is a little more than two weeks away, and the roster of Vatican-accredited journalists who will accompany the Holy Father during his flight into the country has been announced.

ABN-CBN News’ Lynda Jumilla was named on Monday among the 14 broadcast journalists who will fly with Pope Francis from Sri Lanka to the Philippines.

The journalists will get the chance to join press conferences on board the papal flight, as well as accompany the Holy Father on his state and apostolic visit.

Pope Francis lands in Manila on the evening of Jan. 15.

He’s the third pope to make an apostolic visit to the Philippines.
