Aaron Paul on how “Breaking Bad” saved him and ushered in “El Camino”

At the “El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie” premiere, lead Aaron Paul reunited with his “Breaking Bad” family, including Bryan Cranston and director Vince Gilligan.

“I was at the lowest point in my career. When I read Breaking Bad, and it was easily the best thing I’ve ever read. And so I just knew I had to, you know, fight a little bit harder.”

The actor said meeting Gilligan, who created the show, changed his life when he hired him to play Jesse Pinkman, the character that many fans grew to love.
