Nine-year-old Angelica Hale from Atlanta wowed the America’s Got Talent judges on Tuesday night — with a moving performance of Alicia Keys’ hit “Girl on Fire,” during the judges’ cuts round.
The song resonates with Hale, who was on life support and in need of a kidney in 2013.
Her mom was a match and immediately donated one of her own.
Now, Hale uses her voice to raise money and support for children’s hospitals.
After this Fil-Am sang, the audience began chanting “golden buzzer!” to put her through the live shows. Guest judge Chris Hardwick agreed.
