LOS ANGELES — A Filipino man was brutally killed in broad daylight, and police are now looking for a suspect.
Last Tuesday afternoon, 70-year-old Los Angeles Department of Power and Water employee Julius Rondez was on his way to the Metro station after work, when a man walking in the opposite direction turned around and struck him.
70-year-old Julius Rondez was killed last Tues, July 9, in Los Angeles.
Rondez was eventually hospitalized, and died the following day of blunt force trauma.
Rondez worked for LADWP for 30 years, and was eligible to retire — but reports say that he still felt strong and continued to work.
Police believe the attack was random, and have released images of a suspect whom they believe may have been a homeless man between the age of 20 to 30 years old, and standing around 5’8.
