REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Two of the top boxers in the world have knocked out a viral report that they will fight later this year.

Fighting congressman Manny Pacquiao denied a recent report from 78 Sports TV, citing anonymous sources from Floyd Mayweather’s camp that the two will fight in September.

The report, originally posted in early December has gone viral in recent days.

Pacquiao adds that because of Mayweather’s refusal to work with his promoter Top Rank, the fight would need to be arranged after Pacquiao’s Top Rank contract expired at the end of this year.

Mayweather has also denied the 78 Sports TV report.

Both fighters plan on resuming their careers in the spring.

The Pacman has yet to decide who his next opponent will be.

Mayweather is smart, why would he work with Top Rank when he promote his own fights ? He’s not like the Pacman ! Mayweather makes millions by promote his own fights ! That’s why he make a lot of money on his fights not like the Pacman that gives Top Rank a lot of his money.

My prediction,it is a done deal, this year, there will be Pacman/Mayweather fight, Mayweather will win, on the 2nd fight next year. There will be a 3rd fight..Both boxers, and promoters, knew that, they are close to retirement, this is their last chance to earn a big, big amount of money.
