ATLANTIC CITY, NJ – For the first time in the Philippine Concert King Martin Nievera’s 31 years in show business, he shared the stage on Saturday with his twin sister Vicky, and their father—“Timeless Balladeer”—Bert Nievera, in a Christmas special at the Tropicana in Atlantic City, NJ.

“I feel so fortunate,” Bert Nievera said. “I’m still around to be with them. It’s a pleasure to sing with my son Martin – The “Concert King”, and now the “Concert Twin” is with him. So we’re all together.

“To share the same stage with these talented and gorgeous, handsome men,” Vicky Nievera said. “Of course, Martin’s my twin and I have to say that I’m excited, I’m so excited and I’m honored and I’m humbled to be with them in their presence.”

“It’s the true meaning of family Christmas,” Martin Nievera said. “It’s also the time for my dad to see his kids. You know we’re never together at Christmas, so here in Atlantic City, during a show we get to be together on this special day.”

Jared Martin may not be a member of the Nievera family, but with his amazing pipes, this up-and-coming FilAm guest singer from Tom’s River not only passed as a Nievera, but he leveled up to Martin’s incredible performance.

“It’s unreal that this opportunity has even come up in my life,” Jared Martin said. “It’s such a great opportunity and I’m just very excited to sing with Martin.”

For the Nieveras, Christmas is not only a time for family but it’s also time for giving back. The show “Nievera & Son: A Christmas Celebration” would benefit the Filipino-American Community Development Center in Tom’s River.

Part of the proceeds will be donated to ABS-CBN Foundation’s Sagip Kapamilya to help the survivors of Typhoon Yolanda.

Through all the destruction you still see Filipinos smiling, hopeful, cheerful,” Martin Nievera said. “Believe it or not they’re cheerful, and I think it’s because of all the love that we’re getting all over the world.”
