HOUSTON, TX — Gone, without a trace. 21-year-old Fil-Am Naval reservist Jeremy Arceo has not been seen for days.
Jeremy Arceo left his home at about 1:30 AM from his house, where he was living with his parents, and has not been seen since. While police say there is no indication of foul play, the family is frantic to find him.
“Eto po ang panaganay na anak namin na si Jeremy. He is 21 yrs old. Lagi kong sinasabi sa kanya na pag aalis sya be careful Kuya, I love you!”
“Napa kabait na bata ni Jeremy. Matulungin, maunawain, at sa mga kaibigan wala aking narinig na puna sa kanya.”
His father says the house alarm was set, nothing out of the ordinary inside. No evidence, no leads, no witnesses — leaving the family in feeling frustrated and powerless.
Jeremy’s cell phone is also missing. When the father called it, a mysterious stranger answered.
“I was driving trying to call him. Then someone pick up the phone. I was happy. That’s were my heart sank. It was not Jeremy’s voice. It was another person who says who’s this? And I said, no who is this? I do not know who you are. Why do you have my sons’ phone? Where are you? Please don’t hang up. Tell me who you are the other person said well, I just pick this up from the woods near the village.”
The phone is now off, and investigators were working to trace the digital footprint.
The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Department told BA “the search is still ongoing.”
Friends and family have rallied behind the family, organizing search parties and Facebook campaigns, hoping someone will recognize him and come forward with information.
“And if I see him again I’ll say the same thing. Just like what I always tell him, its never ever too late to tell someone that you love them.”
Anyone with information regarding Jeremy Arceo’s whereabouts is asked to call the Fort Bend County Sherriff’s Department.
