A Filipino American has fulfilled his National Hockey League dreams.
Fil-Am Jason Robertson was selected by the Dallas Stars, in the second round of this past weekend’s NHL draft.
The 17-year-old winger lived in Los Angeles until age 10, before moving to Detroit.
Robertson is the second Filipino in the 100-year history of the NHL, joining Fil-Canadian Matthew Dumba of the Minnesota Wild, who is now entering his fifth season.
