16-year-old Texas Pinay graduates college, on her way to pursuing a master’s
Filipino-American Hannah Baratang is making the local news at the city of Harker Heights, Texas.
Baratang is only 16-years-old but she has graduated college.
This teen college phenom has already earned not just one — but two associate degrees at the Central Texas College, one in organismal biology and the other in chemistry.
And she is on her way to finish a bachelor’s degree in biology at the Texas A&M University in central Texas even before she turns 18.
Her GPA is a nearly perfect 3.8.
Baratang was only 12-years-old when she earned her high school diploma.
The young Fil-Am says she wants to combine science and art in her future career — but before that, the eldest daughter of Ramil and Joan Ramos Baratang plans to do more studying and pursue a Master’s degree right after earning her Bachelor’s degree diploma.
