REDWOOD CITY, Calif. – Illinois health officials say there are now 10 confirmed measles cases in Cook County.
Nine cases stem from a KinderCare Learning Center in the Chicago suburb of Palatine.
Another case is in Chicago and is reportedly not related to the KinderCare location.
Officials aren’t sure if the cases are connected to the multi-state outbreak linked to Disneyland.
Meanwhile, transportation officials in the San Francisco Bay Area say an unnamed BART passenger who was confirmed to have measles, may have exposed other passengers to the virus while commuting to work from Feb. 4 to 6.
They urge anyone who thinks they may have symptoms to see a doctor.
